What is the KPP01 Test?
KPP stands for Kurikulum Pendidikan Pemandu (Driver Education Curriculum). KPP01 is the computerised theory test run by JPJ that every learner must pass before getting a Learner’s Driving Licence (LDL).
What Does It Cover?
- Road signs — warning, prohibition, mandatory and information signs
- Traffic rules — right of way, overtaking, safe following distance, defensive driving
- The KEJARA system — demerit points and licence penalties
- Colour-vision test — Ishihara plates
The KEJARA Demerit System
KEJARA assigns demerit points for traffic offences. Key facts for the exam:
| Exceeding the speed limit | Scheduled KEJARA offence |
| Ignoring traffic lights | Demerit points imposed |
| Reckless / dangerous driving | Highest demerit points |
| PDL reaches 10 points | Licence revoked |
How to Prepare
The test is multiple-choice with a fixed pass mark, so preparation is straightforward: practise real-style questions until you consistently score above 80%. A spaced-repetition tool that re-shows your mistakes is the fastest route.
